it’s the version of Ben when he’s around 16-17 years old and the watch he has on is a bit more advanced than the one he wore back when he was 10 yrs old. they also have his cousin involved in the collab who has powers of her own that are more magic in nature

it can even scan alien species and have their dna stored on it so he can turn into them too; so basically Ben could feasibly turn into a saiyan or a kryptonian if he really wanted to

little fun fact while I’m at it: the watch itself actually hold a total of 1,000,912 different alien DNA samples stored on it, but only has like 10 or so ben can turn into at a time

the very original one came out back in 2005 but there’s been multiple series afterwards and even a watered down reboot (we don’t talk about the reboot)

at first, he had access to only 10 aliens, but as he matured and facing different enemies, the different aliens he had access to grew too

yeah when it crash landed by their camp site, it was in a little pod vessel, and because of the watch scanning Ben and it having enough of a DNA match to who it was MEANT for, it leaped out and stuck itself on his wrist

so, 10 yr old Ben was on a camping trip with his cousin and grandpa, out of nowhere the watch falls from space and gets stuck to his wrist, he realizes he can turn into 10+ aliens of varying powers and abilities and has to protect his family and keep it from falling into the wrong hands
